As my subjects have evolved, my interest in the mental process of constructing meaning from an unfamiliar visual situation remains the ongoing content of my work. While unaware at the time they were made, the paintings below were the precursors to the “Artifacts” and “Instructions and Prototypes” narratives which were to follow.
